Location: Village Grocer Horizon Mall, Johor Bahru. Johor.
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising daily bakery operations, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, managing staff, and achieving production and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily bakery production and operations.
• Assign tasks and manage bakery staff, including bakers and assistants.
• Ensure all bakery products meet quality, taste, freshness, and presentation standards.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure products are prepared on time.
• Check inventory and coordinate ordering of ingredients and packaging materials.
• Minimize product waste and control production costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Train and guide staff on bakery procedures, recipes, equipment, and hygiene practices.
• Monitor bakery equipment and report or arrange maintenance when required.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues professionally.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, wastage, and staff records.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bakery, food production, or similar supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of bakery production and food safety practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Food-handling or relevant food-safety certification is an advantage.
