Job Title: Pricing Manager, Rest of Asia

Location: Singapore / Malaysia

Reports To: Senior Commercial Director, Rest of Asia

Position Summary:

We are seeking a commercially minded and analytical Pricing Manager to develop and strengthen our pricing capabilities across multiple markets and countries.

The Pricing Manager will be responsible for providing fact-based insights into market pricing, competitor positioning and pricing trends to support commercial and business decisions. The role will work across markets to establish pricing benchmarks, identify opportunities and risks, and provide management with actionable insights to improve pricing effectiveness and competitiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance, business analytics or commercial analysis background with good knowledge of industrial markets and B2B business dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain pricing benchmarks across countries, markets, customer segments and product categories, including systematic tracking of competitor pricing and market positioning.
• Analyse pricing, customer, product and market data to identify trends, pricing gaps, opportunities and risks, and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Develop consistent pricing methodologies, analytical models, dashboards and reporting to strengthen pricing visibility and capabilities across the organisation.
• Monitor competitor activities, industry developments and market dynamics to understand their implications for pricing and commercial strategy.
• Assess the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, margin and profitability, incorporating relevant cost, market demand and competitive considerations.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Product/Marketing and country teams to gather market insights, challenge pricing assumptions and support fact-based pricing decisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in pricing, commercial finance, financial analysis, market analysis, strategy or business analytics.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Good understanding of financial concepts, including revenue, cost, margin and profitability.
• Experience conducting market and competitor benchmarking would be highly advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis; experience with BI/visualisation tools would be an advantage.
• Strong PowerPoint skills are a must, with the ability to structure and present pricing insights and recommendations clearly to senior management.
• Experience working across multiple countries or markets would be beneficial.
• Candidates with relevant experience from advisory/consulting firms, industrial companies or B2B/manufacturing environments may be particularly relevant.
