Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a QA Tester in the Insurance Domain based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The QA Tester will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to validate insurance-related applications and systems. Day-to-day activities include performing manual testing, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements, and retesting fixes to ensure quality standards are met. The role involves analyzing system behavior, verifying data and workflows specific to insurance processes, and producing clear test reports and documentation. The QA Tester will also support continuous improvement of QA practices and contribute to ensuring stable, reliable releases.
Qualifications

• Strong Quality Assurance and Manual Testing skills, with experience validating functional and non-functional requirements
• Proficiency in Test Execution and developing detailed Test Cases aligned with business and technical specifications
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for troubleshooting issues, understanding insurance workflows, and interpreting system behavior
• Experience working in the insurance domain or financial services environment
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management platforms
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly
• Attention to detail, organized work habits, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
• Relevant diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
