岗位职责

The Critical Information Infrastructure (CII) Division plays a key role in safeguarding Singapore's essential services against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. We work closely with Sector Leads and CII Owners (CIIOs) across all the critical sectors to strengthen the cybersecurity and resilience of Singapore's critical infrastructure.

In line with Singapore's Cybersecurity Strategy 2026, we are strengthening our approach to cyber defence by going beyond regulatory oversight to proactively partner CIIOs in identifying cyber risks, addressing security gaps and enhancing their capabilities to prevent, detect, respond to and recover from cyberattacks.

You will lead a team of officers to build strong partnerships with CIIOs, drive cybersecurity improvement initiatives and translate national cybersecurity priorities into practical measures that strengthen the resilience of Singapore's essential services.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strategic partnerships with Critical Information Infrastructure Owners (CIIOs) and Sector Leads to understand their cybersecurity challenges, identify capability gaps and drive collaborative initiatives to strengthen cyber resilience.
  • Proactively identify and address cybersecurity risks by working with CIIOs to anticipate emerging threats, assess vulnerabilities and develop practical, risk-based measures to strengthen their cybersecurity posture.
  • Drive improvements in cyber defence capabilities, including threat detection, security monitoring, incident response and recovery readiness, while facilitating the adoption of advanced cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
  • Strengthen sector-wide cyber resilience by identifying systemic risks and common cybersecurity challenges, facilitating knowledge sharing and coordinating initiatives to enhance preparedness and operational resilience across critical sectors.
  • Support effective implementation of cybersecurity requirements by providing practical guidance, facilitating risk-based solutions and helping CIIOs address cybersecurity gaps while maintaining regulatory expectations.
  • Lead and develop a team of officers, providing strategic direction and technical guidance, while engaging senior public and private sector stakeholders to drive collaborative cybersecurity improvements and national resilience outcomes.

Requirements

  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in IT/OT cybersecurity, cyber defence, security operations, cybersecurity risk management, incident response, critical infrastructure protection or cybersecurity consulting.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, risks and operational challenges, with practical expertise in areas such as threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, IT/OT security, cloud security or cyber resilience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex cybersecurity risks into practical, risk-based solutions that balance security needs with operational priorities.
  • Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships, influence senior management, lead teams and drive collaborative cybersecurity improvements.
  • Relevant qualification in Information and Communications Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, GRID, GCIH, GCIA, CISM or equivalent cybersecurity qualifications would be advantageous.
