Lead Engineer – Civil & Structural

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer – Civil & Structural to lead concept design development for large-scale advanced technology facilities, including semiconductor, battery and high-tech manufacturing projects. This position offers exposure to complex international projects, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

Lead Civil & Structural concept design development, delivering technically sound and cost-effective engineering solutions. Provide technical expertise in structural design, value engineering, design reviews and regulatory compliance. Support tender proposals, technical specifications, cost estimation and project planning for large-scale advanced technology facilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients and global engineering specialists to optimise design solutions, incorporate off-site manufacturing opportunities and ensure compliance with quality and design safety standards.

Requirements

Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant design and construction experience, including 5 years in a technical leadership capacity on fast-track projects. Strong expertise in concrete and steel structural design, structural analysis, BIM-integrated design and applicable engineering codes and regulations. Experience in semiconductor, industrial or other complex multidisciplinary facilities projects would be advantageous. Professional Engineer registration or a relevant Master's degree would be an advantage. Strong stakeholder management, technical communication and project coordination skills are essential.
