We are working with multiple contractors and PMCs who handle high rise, commercial, landed, infra, industrial, data center projects.

about the job

• Lead and oversee construction projects from planning and design through to execution, handover, and the Defect Liability Period (DLP).

• Develop and maintain accurate project schedules (using MS Project or Primavera) and manage project budgets to prevent cost overruns.

• Liaise closely with clients, architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Ensure all works comply with local authority requirements (e.g., Local Councils/Majlis, Bomba, DOSH/JKKP, and CIDB regulations).

• Oversee the preparation and administration of construction contracts (familiarity with PAM or JKR standard forms of contract is essential). Review progress claims, variation orders (VO), and Extension of Time (EOT) applications.

• Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols on-site. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship (QLASSIC/CONQUAS standards, where applicable).

• Allocate and manage site resources, including manpower, machinery, and materials, to optimize productivity.

• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting project milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Guide, mentor, and manage the site team, including Site Engineers, Supervisors, and Safety Officers.
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of proven working experience in construction management

• Valid CIDB Green Card is mandatory.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong advantage.

• Proficiency in project management and planning software (MS Project, Primavera P6).

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Ability to speak Mandarin or local dialects is an added advantage for liaising with certain subcontractors and suppliers).
