About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Vice President, Finance to act as the CFO's key deputy and lead the Group Finance function.

The role oversees financial reporting, consolidation, treasury, tax, insurance, Finance Shared Services and finance transformation, while supporting strategic and corporate initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Group financial reporting, consolidation and financial governance.
• Oversee Bursa Malaysia reporting, MFRS/IFRS compliance and statutory requirements.
• Manage Group treasury, cash flow, banking and funding.
• Oversee tax, transfer pricing and Group insurance.
• Lead Finance Shared Services and drive process improvement, automation and digital transformation.
• Support M&A, restructuring, fundraising and other corporate exercises.
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management and governance.
• Support the CFO on Board matters, strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop senior Finance teams across the Group.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; CA(M), ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
• MIA member or eligible for MIA membership.
• Minimum 15 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Strong experience in Group reporting and consolidation within a listed or complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
• Broad experience in treasury, tax, audit, controls and risk management.
• Experience in finance transformation, shared services and process improvement.
• M&A, fundraising or corporate exercise experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, commercial and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willing to travel overseas when required.
