Job Title: Java Backend Developer – Spring Boot

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot to develop and maintain backend services for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have experience implementing business logic, designing service layers, integrating databases, and supporting API integration with frontend applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement business logic based on application requirements, product specifications, and business workflows.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and system integration.
• Design service layers and integrate backend services with relational databases.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration and data exchange.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
• Follow coding standards, software development best practices, and application architecture guidelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to deliver quality software solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing backend services, business logic, and service-layer components.
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
• Experience with database integration, SQL, and data access technologies.
• Familiarity with code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and software quality practices.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or similar Java frameworks.
• Familiarity with Maven or Gradle and Git-based version control.
• Exposure to frontend-backend integration and enterprise application modernisation.
