Intern Assistant Swimming Coach

Axis Aqua Academy (AAA)

Axis Aqua Academy is looking for enthusiastic, responsible and motivated individuals to join the team as Intern Assistant Swimming Coaches.

This internship provides hands-on experience in swimming instruction, coaching development, aquatic safety and sports education.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist swimming coaches in conducting swimming lessons for children and adults.

2. Support the delivery of swimming programmes according to the academy's teaching structure and guidelines.

3. Assist in demonstrating basic swimming skills, drills and techniques.

4. Monitor students' progress and provide basic feedback under the supervision of the Head Coach or assigned coach.

5. Ensure students' safety and maintain proper discipline throughout swimming sessions.

6. Assist with class preparation, equipment arrangement and post-session activities.

7. Support the coaching team in maintaining a positive, safe and encouraging learning environment.

8. Participate in coaching development, training sessions and other academy activities.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Physical Education, Sports Management or a related field.

- Has a genuine interest in swimming and sports coaching.

- Basic swimming skills are required.

- Responsible, punctual, disciplined and willing to learn.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Previous swimming or coaching experience is an advantage but not compulsory.

- Kelab Golf Kinrara.

Working Schedule: Based on academy class schedules and operational requirements.

Internship Duration: Subject to university or college requirements.
