ABOUT GYEON
GYEON is one of the world’s most innovative and fastest-growing brands in premium car care, ceramic coatings and surface protection. Trusted by professional detailers and automotive enthusiasts in over 100 countries, we combine advanced chemistry, bold design and deep industry expertise.
We don’t follow the market. We shape it.
This is not a coordinator role that forwards emails. You will own the path from order to delivery. You will know when an order will be ready, which sailing it will catch, what it will cost to ship and what is holding it up, and you will tell the distributor before they have to ask.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Order to dispatch. Every distributor order, from confirmation to the container leaving Korea: ready dates, bookings, loading and documents.
- The factory interface. Daily work with our production team in Korea, in Korean. You will align production and ready dates with sailings, so orders leave on time and containers leave full.
- Shipping schedules. Finding sailings early, comparing options, and working with shipping agents and freight forwarders in Korea and abroad, including our distributors' own agents.
- Distributor communication. Clear, early updates on ready dates, shipping and delays, in English, to partners in more than 60 countries.
- Export documents. Commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and dangerous goods paperwork for chemical products. Banks and customs depend on these being right the first time.
- The system. Orders, stock and shipments kept current in Odoo, our group ERP, so anyone at HQ can see where an order is without asking you.
- Cost and speed. Freight cost per order, lead time, on-time ready dates. You will track them, report them monthly and move them in the right direction.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years in international logistics, export operations or freight forwarding, ideally for a manufacturer shipping FCL and LCL by sea.
- Fluent Korean and very good English, spoken and written. Korean is a genuine requirement of this role: you will work every day, in Korean, with our production team and Korean shipping partners.
- Hands-on knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation and customs. Experience with dangerous goods (IMDG) shipments is a strong plus.
- Experience working with Korean freight forwarders, shipping lines or customs brokers.
- At home in an ERP and in Excel. Odoo is an advantage; what matters is that you keep the system right, not a spreadsheet on the side.
- You solve problems before they reach the customer. Calm under pressure, direct, open-minded.
- Flexible about hours when a shipment needs it, as we work across Korea, Singapore, Europe and the Americas.
- Happy to travel to Korea three to four times a year.
WHAT IT IS REALLY LIKE
The role is new. Part of the process already exists, and part of it you will build: how ready dates are promised, how bookings are made and how delays are reported to distributors.
You will report to Jing En at our Singapore headquarters and work every day with the factory management in Korea. The team is small, and decisions happen in days, not quarters.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AFTER SIX MONTHS
- Distributors know their ready dates and shipping plans without having to chase us.
- Production in Korea is planned around the sailings, and containers leave full.
- Every open order is current in Odoo, and freight cost and lead times are reported every month.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Monthly salary of SGD [6,000–8,500], depending on experience, plus an annual bonus
- [18] days of annual leave and medical insurance
- Real responsibility in an international brand, not a back-office job with a big title
- Direct exposure to manufacturing, export and distribution across more than 60 markets
- Regular trips to our factory in Korea
