Job Description

-         Assist in preliminary civil and structural(C&S) design from conceptual drawings followed by detailed design, calculations and specifications.

-         Liaise with engineering team and consultants to check and confer on the technical design and processes which meet project requirements.

-         Submit engineering drawings and calculations to the appropriate authority and obtain planning approval.

-         Execute inspection on works at site as and when required.

-         Attended drawing clarifications, amendments to drawings and problems at site.

-         Apply for certificate of fitness for occupation from appropriate authorities.

-         Study, highlight and resolve discrepancies ofdrawings and specifications.

-         Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

-         Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.

-         3-5 years of relevant experience in main contractor/ consulting firm.

-         Design experience in a consulting firm is a plus.

-         Sound knowledge of the technical operations and processes in the construction industry.

-         Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

-         Good communication and team collaboration skills.
