The Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer/Software Programmer to lead robotic process automation (RPA) initiatives. You'll work hand in hand with business process owners, project managers and business analysts to turn approved process designs into reliable, reusable automation solutions, while mentoring junior developers and helping shape best practices across the Centre of Excellence.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and design process workflows, then build, test and implement RPA solutions with business process owners and junior developers

• Support business cases and opportunity identification to drive wider adoption of RPA across the organization

• Set up and oversee development, test and production environments, and explore server and other RPA deployment options

• Align the Centre of Excellence and stakeholders on best practices, coding standards and guidelines

• Break approved design documents (PDD) into components, assign work to junior developers and identify reusable components, queues, schedules and configurable parameters

• Mentor junior developers, troubleshoot and debug issues, and carry out timely code reviews and audits

• Maintain project documentation, track outstanding challenges and ensure knowledge transfer to clients

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science and/or relevant professional certificate(s)

• 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience using Automation Anywhere

• Proven ability to design, develop, test and deploy RPA solutions end to end

• Confident mentor and team lead who can guide junior developers

• Strong documentation, estimation and stakeholder communication skills
