Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency inSolidWorks/CAM software for programming CNC machines.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.

Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in machining operations.

To support process improvement towards efficiency.

To be responsible and ensure the program is created correctly within the time specified.

To perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.

To consider correct tools as required to cut the particular materials and to program the machines accordingly.

To troubleshoot and resolve problems as and when program errors happen.

To optimize programs and reduce wastage of material.

To follow up closely and execute all improvement/ cost saving projects.

To support and work towards reducing machine down time.

To ensure accuracy and timely readiness of goods produced under his responsibility.

To responsible for personal safety and ensure safe conduct as not to risk others or company properties.

To maintain the consistency in applying company policies, procedures and shop floor rules.

To be an active leader in continuous improvements in metal fabrication operations.

To analyze the engineering drawings and specifications by determining the manufacturing requirements.

To select the appropriate tools, materials, and machines for the fabrication processes.

To use computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop 2D and 3D models of sheet metal components.

To assist in maintaining and calibrating CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

To document and maintain program changes, process parameters, and production records for traceability and continuous improvement.

To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.
