Software QA Tester / Requirements Analyst (CTFL / CPRE Certified)

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in enterprise-level government IT system development projects.
• Perform software testing, functional testing, system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Analyse and validate business and system requirements.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports.
• Identify, document, track and verify software defects.
• Review Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and System Requirement Specifications (SRS).
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, system functionalities and test cases.
• Collaborate with project managers, system analysts, developers and other technical teams.
• Support project documentation and quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Must possess at least ONE of the following professional certifications:

- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)

- IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE)

• Candidates possessing both CTFL and CPRE certifications will have an added advantage.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, business analysis or requirements engineering.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies and software testing practices.
• Experience in preparing BRS, SRS, test plans, test cases and test reports.
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Jira, Postman, Selenium or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience in government IT system development projects will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
