Role Overview

As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will oversee technical architecture and deployment in cloud platform environments, including co-existence with the client’s existing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and applications. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing cloud adoption plans, designing cloud applications, and managing cloud environments with continuous monitoring.

You are expected to be a subject matter expert: collaborate with and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

•

Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud solutions on AWS infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and a target microservices application architecture.
• Design co-existence between the legacy Oracle Cloud and the target AWS Cloud to ensure source-of-truth parity and successful cutovers.
• Support and guide team members by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud architecture and operational processes.
• Establish the cloud setup, covering build pipelines and environments.
• Own integration design across in-scope third-party systems, aligned to the client’s guidelines for system integration.
• Ensure conformance to the signed-off application, data and technical architecture, and to data protection policy.
