Possess a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, DVM, DKM Level 4, DLKM Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Air Conditioning or a related technical field.

Has more than 3 years of experience as aircond technician. 

Basic knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and mechanical systems.

Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment.

Familiar with preventive maintenance procedures, safety regulations and technical servicing requirements.

Able to work independently and cooperate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Good problem-solving skills with the ability to respond promptly to maintenance issues.

Willing to perform emergency repairs and additional maintenance duties when required.

Basic knowledge of maintenance reporting and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.

Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair air conditioning, ventilation and HVAC systems.

Monitor and supervise mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) according to the established maintenance schedule.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs to minimise equipment downtime.

Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, adjustments and servicing of HVAC equipment.

Assist supervisors with other mechanical maintenance work, including fire-fighting systems, lifts and related building facilities.

Identify potential equipment failures, maintenance risks and safety hazards, and report them to the supervisor.

Attend to maintenance complaints, equipment defects and emergency breakdowns promptly.

Ensure all repair and rectification works are completed within the required timeframe.

Prepare daily maintenance logs, service reports and close completed work orders in the CMMS.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, company policies and occupational safety requirements.

Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable technical standards, safety regulations and customer requirements.

Provide technical guidance and on-the-job assistance to other team members when required.

Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the supervisor.
