Job Summary:

This role installs, maintains or repairs Survitec products across one or more product categories, focusing on delivering Survitec standard work to maintain and uphold right first time and operational efficiency. Success requires completion of technical product training and the demonstration of applying that learning through competence assessment

Candidates without relevant technical diplomas or certificates and a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of inflatable life rafts and related safety equipment according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements (SOLAS).
• Perform necessary maintenance and repairs, including patching, valve servicing, pressure testing, and replacing components.
• Repack life rafts efficiently and correctly, ensuring all contents are present and in good working order.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each life raft serviced.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, regulations, and servicing techniques.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of life rafts and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding job status and any issues encountered.
• Potentially conduct on-site servicing on vessels as required.

Shift Details: Includes regular shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
Rest Days: Two scheduled rest day per week.

Pay: $2,200.00 - $4,000.00 per month
