Software Engineer

(Full Stack)

who is passionate about solving complex technical challenges, building high-performance applications, and driving innovation across front-end, backend, and full-stack development. This is a 12-month renewable contract opportunity with one of the social media client. You'll collaborate with world-class Product, Design, Platform, and Operations teams to design, develop, and scale consumer-facing products and automated platforms that power exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities:
Drive technical design proposals and effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.

Work closely with product, design, Support and other cross functional teams to define and refine project specifications.

Technical design, implement and test (unit and end to end) complex project features and ensure hitting the project release timeline.

Design and develop front-end interfaces, underlying APIs, or backend systems across a number of programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP(Hack)/Python

Create consumer products and features on a large scale

Master client’s development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity

Partner closely with Product, Platform and Operations teams to build and scale a fully automated platform for operations.

Qualifications:
Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions

Experience in working effectively with and influencing senior engineers across organizations

Proven track record of delivering complex projects within a specified timeline

Experience in driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts

Proficient with decentralized source control management tools such as Git and Mercurial within a large team environment

Proficient with React/Vue/Angular and/or other similar modern JavaScript framework
