Position Title: Security Guard (Midnight Shift)

Department: Facilities & Operations / Safety

Location: Green Wings Mental Rehabilitation & Recovery Centre (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

Position Overview

Green Wings is a premier, private residential mental health and addiction recovery facility. We provide a secure, compassionate, and confidential environment for individuals recovering from trauma, substance dependency, and psychiatric challenges.

We are seeking a vigilant, discreet, and empathetic Midnight Security Guard to oversee property safety, maintain a peaceful nocturnal environment, and ensure the absolute security of our residential clients, staff, and premises during night hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Perimeter & Facility Surveillance: Conduct regular, scheduled patrols throughout the indoor and outdoor residential grounds, gardens, and building perimeters to prevent unauthorized access or security breaches.
• Nighttime Peace & Safety Maintenance: Monitor quiet hours to ensure a calm, low-stimulus environment conducive to client rest and clinical recovery.
• Access Control & Monitoring: Oversee all nighttime entry and exit points, verify credentials of late-arriving staff, authorized visitors, or emergency personnel, and manage visitor logs.
• Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Respond swiftly and calmly to facility alarms, medical emergency alerts, or unexpected behavioral incidents. Coordinate immediately with on-duty clinical staff, nurses, and emergency services if required.
• CCTV & Monitoring Systems Operation: Continuously monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and lighting across the facility from the central security desk.
• Incident Reporting: Document any unusual occurrences, maintenance issues, or safety hazards in the nightly shift log and report critical incidents immediately to the Operations Lead or Facility Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of security experience, preferably within healthcare facilities, residential rehabilitation centers, hotels, or upscale gated properties.
• Soft Skills & Demeanor: High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and discretion. Must understand how to interact respectfully and calmly with vulnerable individuals or residents experiencing distress.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of remaining alert through night hours and conducting regular foot patrols across the property.
• Licensing/Certifications: Valid security guard licensing or background certifications as required by local Malaysian regulations. CPR/First Aid certification is a strong advantage.
• Integrity & Reliability: Impeccable background record, punctuality, and the ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision.
