Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Full Stack Engineer role located in Kuala Lumpur. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications, including both front-end interfaces and back-end services. Responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, integrating AI-powered services, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable systems. The role involves collaborating closely with product, design, and research teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, participating in code reviews, and contributing to architecture decisions. The engineer will also help improve development workflows, monitor application performance, and support continuous deployment and testing practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills.
• Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills for building and maintaining APIs and services.
• Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Candidates should possess experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React or similar), and version control using Git.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and basic cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Experience with AI/ML-driven products, security best practices, and performance optimization is beneficial.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
