Role Description The Facilities Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Simpang Ampat. This role oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the company’s facilities, including production areas, offices, and common spaces. Responsibilities include planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with external vendors and contractors, and ensuring all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security) operate effectively. The Facilities Manager monitors facility-related budgets, manages space utilization, and supports expansion or renovation projects to align with operational and manufacturing needs. The role also ensures compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and works closely with internal stakeholders to provide a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong facility operations and maintenance management skills, including experience with building systems, equipment upkeep, and preventive maintenance planning.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with the ability to implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and policies.
• Experience coordinating vendors and contractors, managing service contracts, and overseeing renovation or expansion projects.
• Budgeting and cost control capabilities, including tracking facility-related expenses and optimizing resources for efficiency.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, and management teams.
• Proficiency with facility management software and basic office applications for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related field; professional certifications in facility or safety management are an advantage.
• Prior experience managing facilities in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly beneficial.
