Job Title: Retail Supervisor / Sales Assistant

Job Requirements

• Candidates with supermarket or retail working experience are preferred.
• Must possess at least an SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in retail sales or a supervisory role will be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Willing to be based at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the retail store to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Serve customers, provide product information and recommend suitable products to encourage sales.
• Prepare and conduct food sampling activities to promote products and attract customers.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when engaging with customers.
• Arrange and replenish products on shelves to ensure proper product display and sufficient stock availability.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor or management when replenishment is required.
• Assist with stock receiving, checking, arrangement and inventory counting.
• Ensure products are properly displayed, labelled and priced.
• Monitor product expiry dates and ensure proper handling and storage of perishable items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, shelves and food sampling area.
• Assist in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Assist with cashier duties and payment transactions when required.
• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and food hygiene and safety requirements.

Salary : Salary will be based on experience

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
