What you'll be doing

Clients, communications & projects

• Lead and manage integrated PR campaigns across media relations, influencer engagement, partnerships, events and content.
• Develop strong communications materials including press releases, media pitches, presentations, briefing documents, social content and reports.
• Contribute ideas and strategic thinking to campaign development, informed by news, industry trends, culture and consumer insights.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media, influencers, partners and other stakeholders.
• Manage day-to-day accounts independently — timelines, meetings, deliverables, budgets and follow-ups — while proactively identifying and resolving challenges.
• Take ownership of projects from brief to delivery, ensuring quality, timelines and client expectations are met.
• Support and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Events & experiences

• Lead or support the planning and execution of media events, launches and brand activations, including venue sourcing, supplier coordination, guest management, RSVPs and logistics.
• Take ownership of on-site execution and ensure smooth delivery of events and experiences.
• Prepare post-event evaluations, reports and recommendations to demonstrate impact and identify opportunities for improvement.

Business development

• Identify new business opportunities through existing clients, networks and industry relationships.
• Contribute to and develop proposals, campaign decks and pitches, with confidence presenting ideas to clients and decision makers.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and contribute towards agency new business targets.
• Attend relevant industry and networking events and represent the agency professionally.

Growth & leadership

• Stay curious about brands, media, culture and consumer trends, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas to the team.
• Continue developing strong strategic, communication, account management and business development skills.
• Take ownership of your professional development and actively seek feedback and opportunities to grow.

The details

We are looking for someone with 3+ and more years of relevant experience in PR, communications, marketing, events, media, hospitality or other client-facing roles. You should be confident managing projects, client accounts and relationships independently, while being ready to take on greater ownership, strategic responsibility and opportunities to contribute to new business.

• Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, office-based with some flexible WFH and occasional travel.
• Type: Full-time, permanent.
• Level: Associate / Senior Associate — 3+ and more years' relevant experience.
• Education: Minimum Diploma, Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Language: Excellent written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin an advantage.
• Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
• Eligibility: Malaysian, or a foreign national married to a Malaysian with a valid spousal visa. We are currently unable to sponsor employment passes.
