Qualification & Experience

• Candidate must possess at least SPM / O-Level, STPM / A-Level, Diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in merchandising, sales, retail or a related field.

• Experience in the skincare industry will be an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin will be an added advantage.

• Customer-oriented, confident and able to communicate effectively with retail customers and store personnel.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Good negotiation and sales skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proactive, energetic, hardworking and self-motivated.

• Strong sense of responsibility and good time management.

• Interested in skincare products and willing to learn about the products.

• Willing to travel and visit multiple retail outlets according to an assigned route.

• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.

• Willing to work longer hours during trade promotions, roadshows and other company events.

• Flexible and willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.

Role and Responsibilities

Merchandising & Store Management

• Ensure skincare products are properly arranged according to company planograms and display standards.

• Maintain good product visibility and ensure key or best-selling products are placed in prominent positions.

• Refill shelves regularly and monitor stock levels to minimize out-of-stock situations.

• Practice FIFO (First In, First Out) and remove expired or damaged products from shelves.

• Follow up on the return and collection of expired, damaged or defective products.

• Set up promotional displays, banners, POSM and promotional materials according to campaign requirements.

• Ensure promotional prices, discounts and product information are clearly displayed.

• Visit assigned retail outlets according to the designated route plan and ensure merchandising standards are maintained.

• Monitor competitors' skincare products, pricing, promotions and activities, and provide market feedback.

Sales & Customer Management

• Promote and sell company skincare products to assigned retail outlets and customers.

• Build and maintain good working relationships with store managers, supervisors and store staff.

• Follow up with customers on product orders, stock requirements, promotions and other sales matters.

• Identify opportunities to increase product distribution, shelf space and sales within assigned outlets.

• Negotiate for better shelf positions, additional display areas and promotional opportunities where possible.

• Support sales campaigns, product launches, promotions and other marketing activities.

• Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving assigned sales targets.

• Provide feedback on customer preferences, market trends, competitor activities and product performance.

Reporting & General Duties

• Submit daily or weekly reports on outlet visits, stock levels, sales activities, merchandising conditions and promotional execution.

• Record and report stock, pricing, display or customer issues promptly.

• Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, Warehouse and other relevant teams to ensure smooth product supply and promotional execution.

• Participate in trade promotions, roadshows, exhibitions and other company activities when required.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management.
