Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of procurement, supplier management and inventory control.

Proven experience in cost reduction, strategic sourcing and supplier development.

Good negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a purchasing team.

Lead and manage the Purchasing Department to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and business objectives.

Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality and delivery.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Prepare purchasing reports, monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with Production, Planning, Warehouse and Finance to meet operational requirements.
