WE’RE HIRING: SJKC Tuition Teacher & Assistant Teacher

Full-Time / Part-Time

Pusat Tuisyen Merit Sukses (PTMS) is expanding, and we are looking for responsible educators who are passionate about helping primary school children learn and improve.

Pusat Tuisyen Merit Sukses (Jalan Ipoh Branch)

Jalan Batu Ambar, Kuala Lumpur

POSITIONS AND SALARY

1. SJKC Tuition Teacher

Full-time salary: RM2,200–RM2,800 per month

2. SJKC Assistant Teacher

Full-time salary: RM1,800–RM2,200 per month

3. Part-Time Teacher or Assistant

RM10–RM13 per hour

A minimum commitment of three months is preferred.

Salary will depend on experience, subject knowledge, responsibilities, teaching ability and classroom-management capability.

WORKING HOURS

Monday–Friday

12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide homework guidance for Standard 1–6 students

* Conduct SJKC tuition lessons

* Check and mark students’ work carefully

* Guide students in Mathematics, Science, Bahasa Melayu or English

* Monitor students’ learning progress and classroom behaviour

* Follow PTMS teaching procedures, notes and lesson arrangements

* Work cooperatively with teachers and assistant teachers

* Attend training, meetings and professional-development programmes

Tuition teachers will normally teach approximately two of their strongest subjects. They are not expected to teach every subject independently.

REQUIREMENTS

* Mandarin literacy is required

* Must be able to read, write and speak Mandarin

* Former SJKC student or familiar with the SJKC syllabus and learning environment

* Confident in guiding at least two primary-school subjects

* Patient, responsible, punctual and attentive

* Enjoys working with primary school children

* Open to feedback, training and continuous improvement

* Values teamwork and cooperative working relationships

* Teaching experience is an advantage

* Fresh graduates and SPM school leavers are welcome to apply for the assistant-teacher position
