Possess a minimum qualification of SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Science, Chemistry, or an equivalent related discipline.

Have a basic understanding of laboratory work, including proper sample handling, sample preparation techniques, and the operation of laboratory equipment.

Be able to follow all applicable laboratory safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company rules.

Maintain a strong level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling, preparing, weighing, and recording sample information.

Be capable of working independently as well as cooperating effectively with others while maintaining a laboratory environment that is clean, orderly, and safe.

Assist with the receiving, labelling, identification, and preparation of samples for laboratory testing.

Carry out sample preparation procedures, including cutting, segregation, dividing, and mixing activities.

Weigh samples accurately before they undergo the digestion process.

Maintain a clean and organised laboratory by cleaning work areas, glassware, and laboratory equipment.

Perform routine administrative duties, including filing and maintaining relevant laboratory documents.

Monitor the availability of laboratory materials and provide support with inventory control and stock management.

Conduct sample digestion procedures to prepare samples for further analysis.

Ensure full compliance with all laboratory safety requirements and company policies.
