Hold a minimum qualification of SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Science, Chemistry, or a related area of study.

Possess fundamental knowledge of laboratory operations, including sample processing, proper sample handling, and laboratory tools and equipment.

Able to comply with established laboratory safety standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company guidelines.

Demonstrate a high level of precision and attention to detail when preparing, handling, weighing, and recording sample information.

Capable of working both independently and collaboratively while ensuring that the laboratory remains clean, properly arranged, and safe.

Provide support in the acceptance, identification, labelling, and preparation of samples for laboratory use.

Perform sample processing activities, including cutting, separating, dividing, and mixing samples.

Measure the required sample weight before proceeding with the digestion procedure.

Ensure that laboratory workspaces remain neat and hygienic by cleaning glassware, equipment, and relevant work areas.

Carry out routine clerical duties, such as sorting, organising, and maintaining laboratory records and files.

Keep track of laboratory materials and assist with the control and management of stock and supplies.

Conduct the digestion of samples as part of the preparation process for analysis.

Observe and comply with all applicable laboratory safety procedures and company rules.
