Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.

• Technical Certificate, SKM or Diploma in Automotive, Diesel Engine or Heavy Equipment Maintenance is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years' working experience as a Mechanic.

• Experience repairing heavy construction machinery is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical troubleshooting.

• Able to perform preventive maintenance and major repairs independently.

• Basic welding and fabrication skills are an advantage.

• Able to read service manuals and technical drawings.

• Physically fit and willing to work at workshop and project sites.

• Willing to travel for on-site repairs when required.

• Possess a valid Malaysian Driving Licence (Class D). GDL Licence is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

As our Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Perform preventive maintenance according to the Company's maintenance schedule.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.

• Carry out servicing, inspections and repairs on heavy machinery and commercial vehicles.

• Attend emergency breakdowns at workshops and project sites.

• Replace damaged or worn components using approved spare parts.

• Perform engine, transmission and hydraulic repairs.

• Conduct pre-operation and post-repair inspections.

• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.

• Ensure all repairs comply with Company safety standards.

• Maintain workshop cleanliness and proper tool management.

• Work closely with operators, site personnel and supervisors to minimise equipment downtime.
