Minimum SPM or equivalent

At least 3 years of relevant welding experience

Proficient in SMAW, MIG, TIG, and Oxy-acetylene welding techniques

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specifications

Willing to travel for site work as required

Physically fit and able to work in a workshop/site environment

Open to walk-in applicants for interview

Must be willing to undergo a hands-on welding assessment during the interview session

Perform welding tasks using SMAW, MIG, TIG, and Oxy-acetylene techniques

Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication specs

Weld and assemble metal components for machinery, structures, and piping systems

Conduct visual inspections and basic non-destructive tests (NDT) on welds

Repair cracked or damaged metal parts and reinforce structural joints

Maintain welding tools, machines, and consumables in good working condition

Ensure proper material handling and storage of welding electrodes and gases

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE during welding operations

Support site fabrication, installation, and mechanical repair work as needed
