The Senior Audit & Tax Supervisor will be responsible for managing audit and tax assignments, reviewing work prepared by junior team members, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and providing practical solutions to clients.

This role is suitable for professionals seeking broader exposure beyond traditional compliance work, including business advisory, tax planning, and cross-border engagements.

Audit Engagements

* Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion.

* Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements.

* Ensure audit work complies with approved auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

* Identify audit risks and recommend practical solutions.

* Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve audit issues.

* Prepare management reports and audit findings for clients.

* Ensure engagements are completed within agreed timelines.

Tax Compliance & Advisory

* Prepare and review corporate tax computations and tax returns.

* Prepare and review deferred tax calculations.

* Assist clients with tax compliance matters and tax authority enquiries.

* Conduct tax reviews and identify tax planning opportunities.

* Assist with tax audits, investigations, and appeals where required.

* Keep abreast of developments in Malaysian tax legislation and regulations.

Financial Reporting

* Review financial statements prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

* Assist clients with financial reporting and compliance matters.

* Support implementation of accounting and reporting best practices.

Client Relationship Management

* Serve as a key contact person for assigned clients.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships.

* Provide practical and commercially focused recommendations.

* Assist in identifying opportunities for additional professional services.

Team Leadership & Mentoring

* Review and supervise work performed by junior staff.

* Provide coaching, guidance, and technical support to team members.

* Assist in staff training and development initiatives.

* Promote quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the team.

Advisory & Special Projects

* Participate in business advisory assignments.

* Support cross-border business expansion and restructuring projects.

* Assist management with due diligence, financial analysis, and special engagements.

* Support implementation of e-Invoicing, tax compliance, and regulatory projects.
