Internship For Maintenance, 5S & Warehouse 工作, Wonway Manufacturing Pulau Pinang 公司招聘中 - Ricebowl

We are looking for Electrical Engineering students to join us an intern at our Penang site. This internship offers hands-on exposure to maintenance activities, equipment support, 5S implementation, workplace improvement initiatives and other general operational duties. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced team members, understand real plant operations and apply your technical knowledge in a practical working environment.

Maintenance Support

* Assist the maintenance team in daily maintenance activities.

* Support preventive maintenance schedules and machine inspections.

* Help monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities.

* Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and documentation.

* Assist in managing maintenance tools and spare parts inventory.

5S Implementation

* Support the implementation and sustainability of 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).

* Conduct regular 5S inspections and audits.

* Ensure workstations, storage areas, and common facilities are organized and clean.

* Assist in preparing 5S visual management materials, labels, and signage.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace organization and efficiency.

Warehouse Maintenance & Management

* Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.

* Support stock arrangement and proper storage of materials and equipment.

* Ensure materials are labeled and stored according to company procedures.

* Assist in stock counting and inventory accuracy checks.

* Monitor warehouse housekeeping and report any safety concerns.

* Support the receiving, issuing, and tracking of maintenance-related spare parts and consumables.

General Duties

* Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

* Assist in preparing reports and maintaining records.

* Participate in departmental meetings and improvement projects.

* Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
