Experienced Endoscopy Nurse with 3 years of clinical experience assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Skilled in patient assessment, pre- and post-procedure care, sedation monitoring, infection control, and handling endoscopy equipment. Committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.

• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by handling instruments and monitoring patient condition.

• Monitor vital signs and sedation levels before, during, and after procedures.

• Provide pre-procedure education and post-procedure recovery instructions to patients and families.

• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopy instruments and equipment.

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.

• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols in accordance with hospital policies.

• Handle emergency situations and provide basic life support when required.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for smooth patient care and workflow.

• Maintain inventory and ensure availability of endoscopy supplies and medication

  Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Nursing

  • Valid Nursing Registration / License

  • BLS/ACLS certification preferred

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Endoscopy Unit or Gastroenterology Department
