Education

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

Experience

• 1–2 years of relevant draughting experience (Junior / Senior levels may vary)

• Experience in construction, engineering, or manufacturing projects is an advantage

• Fresh graduate is encouraging to apply

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD (essential)

• Knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp, or SolidWorks is an advantage

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Good understanding of construction methods and materials

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

• Clear communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to learn and adapt to project changes

Work Environment

• Office-based with occasional site visits

• May require working alongside project teams during critical project stages

Drawing & Documentation

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans based on specifications and calculations

• Convert design concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings

• Update and revise drawings as required during the project lifecycle

• Maintain drawing registers and proper document control

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, and site teams

• Ensure drawings align with project requirements, standards, and regulations

• Assist in resolving design or drawing-related issues during construction

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements

• Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, and consistency before submission

• Support submission of drawings for approval (shop drawings, as-built drawings)

Site & Project Support

• Assist with preparation of as-built drawings upon project completion

• Attend coordination meetings or site visits if required

• Provide technical drawing support to the project team
