Job Description:

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi networks across the Head Office, Office Tower, Site Offices and Sales Gallerias to ensure stable and reliable connectivity.
• Manage network equipment, which including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, IP phones and biometric time attendance systems.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth and availability as well as resolve network issues within the required service timelines.
• Manage network assets, IP address records, hardware inventory, software licenses and vendor warranties or support contract renewals.
• Configure and maintain network security, which including VLANs, firewall access control lists (ACLs), VPNs and Wi-Fi authentication.
• Perform firmware upgrades, security patching, configuration backups and routine network maintenance.
• Manage network connectivity with Microsoft 365 and other cloud services.
• Maintain accurate network documentation as well as ensure all network devices are properly configured, secured and recorded.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Have a good understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, subnetting, DNS, VPNs, and network security.
• Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and network monitoring tools such as SNMP.
• Knowledge of network equipment configuration, IP telephony (VoIP), and network-connected biometric devices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve network issues effectively.
• Detail-oriented and organised, with good documentation and asset management skills.
• Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Fortinet NSE 4 are an added advantage. Candidates currently pursuing relevant certifications are also encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
