CHEF DE PARTIE (CDP) | MORSELS

Location: Dempsey Hill, SingaporeEmployment: Full-time | 5.5-day work week

At Morsels, we don’t believe in cooking by the book.

We’re an independent, chef-driven restaurant where Asian roots meet global influences. Fermentation, preservation, seasonal produce, unconventional pairings, and cooking from scratch are part of our everyday kitchen life.

We’re looking for a CDP who genuinely loves cooking, takes pride in their craft, and understands that creativity means nothing without discipline and consistency.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Run your kitchen section independently, from mise en place to service.
• Maintain consistency in cooking, seasoning, and presentation.
• Manage ingredients, stock rotation, and food quality.
• Uphold kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Contribute to menu development, fermentation projects, and R&D.
• Work closely with the team to deliver smooth service.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong culinary fundamentals and good palate.
• Organized, disciplined, and calm under pressure.
• Curious about Asian ingredients, fermentation, and contemporary cooking.
• Someone who takes ownership, respects the team, and wants to keep learning.
