The Role:
Assist the QS Manager.
Lead and supervise assigned Quantity Surveying staff.
Oversee the day-to-day execution of QS contractual functions and ensure timely delivery.
Allocate and prioritize workload to maintain effective backlog and workload management.
Monitor the quality and accuracy of claims, valuations, and contractual accounts.
Ensure compliance with PSSCOC, company SOPs and relevant contractual requirements.
Monitor outstanding contractual matters and drive timely resolution.
Prepare and submit monthly QS reports including project status, risks and outstanding matters.
Provide guidance and support to QS staff on contractual and QS matters.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, HDB, and other relevant stakeholders.
Escalate contractual, operational, and performance issues to management.
Support process improvements and other assignments as required.
What Do You Need to Have?
Candidates must possess a Diploma or a Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
He/she must possess at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in Quantity Surveying and contract administration.
Good knowledge of claims, valuations, contractual accounts and Variation Orders.
Familiarity with PSSCOC.
Strong supervisory and team management skills.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
Experience working with consultants, contractors, and HDB will be an advantage.
