• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project / Site Engineer in a construction company.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
  

• This position is require to travel / outstation.

1. Project Planning & Coordination

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

• Oversee the daily installation, coordination, and testing of building services at construction sites.

• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards.

• Need to oversee more than 1 project.

2. Technical Oversight

• Review and ensure site installation is according to project-approved specifications and drawings.

• Validate calculations for load, duct sizing, pump head, and equipment.

• Oversee installation of piping, ducting, VRF/VRV, AHUs/FCUs, and controls.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Assist the Project Manager or Construction Manager in reviewing and preparing technical comparisons for better project cost control.

• Monitor expenditures vs. budgets; control variations and claims.

• Approve payments, invoices, and procurement schedules.

4. Team Leadership & Resource Management

• Track daily and weekly progress, handle Requests for Information (RFIs), and report issues to PM/senior management.

• Conduct coordination meetings with staff and subcontractors.

• Mentor junior engineers and ensure knowledge transfer.

5. Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Enforce quality standards in material selection and installation.

• Conduct inspections for duct leakage, pressure testing, and balancing.

• Ensure documentation for commissioning and handover.

• Implement corrective actions for quality issues.

6. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance

• Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOSH and site safety protocols.

• Approve risk assessments, method statements, and permits.

• Review accident reporting and corrective measures.

7. Client, Consultant & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and consultants.

• Manage client expectations on timeline, cost, and quality.

• Prepare and present reports, updates, and technical clarifications.

• Resolve disputes and maintain professional relationships.

8. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Oversee testing and commissioning (TAB) of HVAC systems, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and final handover.

• Coordinate integration with BMS, fire alarm, and electrical systems.

• Ensure O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and warranties.

• Lead inspections, snag rectifications, and project handover.
