Job Title : Senior Accountant

Report to : Head of Finance (Malaysia)

Employment type : 5 months contract

Job Description

• Prepare and maintain full set accounts. Ensure all expenses are properly captured including accruals and provisions
• Ensure month end deadline are adhered.
• Monitor and assist in reconciliation of AL Balance Sheet items – Deferred revenue and prepayment
• Daily Sales Report/ achoc reports (back up for AR)
• Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Month end closing
• Preparing HFM upload file
• Preparing month end analysis
• Prepare Quarterly report
• Ensure all related internal control are complied with Group policy and local regulatory requirements.
• Income tax and indirect tax calculation and submission
• Ensure Foreign Currency revaluation are posted properly
• PPE capitalisation and depreciation set up.

Skills:

1. SAP , Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
2. Good analytical and report writing skills
3. Team player and good interpersonal skill
4. Proficient in English in both spoken and written

Qualification Requirement:

• Degree in Accountancy and Finance, CPA/ACCA or similar qualifications.
• Working Experience: 3-5 years and above with similar working experience in MNC
