Job Description
HLGW is seeking an experienced senior executive to lead and oversee the company’s business development and operational activities in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, identifying new market opportunities, managing key business relationships, and driving sustainable business growth.
The role will work closely with the management team and business partners to develop strategic initiatives, strengthen operational capabilities and expand the company’s regional business presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company’s business development and growth strategies in Singapore and regional markets.
Lead the planning and execution of strategic business initiatives and commercial projects.
Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and potential market segments.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, business partners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Oversee business operations and ensure that company activities are aligned with strategic objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitors and industry developments and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Lead, manage and develop relevant teams to achieve business and operational objectives.
Establish business performance targets, monitor key performance indicators and implement improvement initiatives.
Manage budgets, resources and operational priorities within the assigned business functions.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective execution of business plans.
Represent the company in business meetings, negotiations and industry-related activities.
Prepare management reports, business plans and strategic recommendations for the company’s leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, International Business or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant management, business development or senior executive experience.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing business strategies.
Strong commercial, analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
Experience in managing teams, business partnerships and cross-functional projects.
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and make business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in Singapore and/or regional Asia-Pacific markets will be an advantage.
Experience working with China-related business, cross-border trade or international business development will be an advantage.
