About Us
B+W Builders is a Singapore construction and interior fit-out company. Through our in-house woodworking workshop, we design, fabricate and install custom carpentry for residential, commercial and institutional projects. We are looking for a skilled Furniture Carpenter to join our workshop and site team.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret shop drawings, and fabricate built-in and loose furniture (cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, shelving, counters, doors and panels) to specification
Operate workshop machinery safely, including the panel saw, edge bander, drilling and routing equipment, and hand and power tools
Measure, cut, assemble and finish laminate, veneer, plywood, MDF and solid wood components
Install carpentry works on site, including levelling, alignment, hardware fitting and final adjustments
Do touch-ups, rectifications and defect works to meet quality standards and handover requirements
Keep the workshop tidy and look after tools and machinery
Follow WSH requirements and company safety procedures in the workshop and on site
Work with the project team, supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in furniture or custom carpentry fabrication and installation
Able to read and work from shop drawings and measurements
Good finishing quality and attention to detail
Experience with workshop machinery and power tools
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to work at different project sites across Singapore
Relevant WSH course / BCSS, or willingness to attend if not yet certified
Basic English communication skills
