The Nutanix Resident will need to be able to understand how to run operations for Nutanix Clusters, and be able to perform Nutanix Upgrades and ESXi to AHV migrations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Operations:

• Manage and maintain Nutanix clusters (hardware and software).
• Day-to-day administration of virtual machines on AHV, VMware, or Hyper-V platforms.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability.

Issue Resolution:

• Troubleshoot hardware, storage, network, and virtualization-related issues.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for Nutanix-related support incidents.
• Coordinate with vendor support (Nutanix, VMware, etc.) as needed.

Cluster & Platform Management:

• Perform software upgrades (AOS, Prism, Hypervisors) with minimal downtime.
• Manage storage containers, data resiliency policies, and snapshot/replication configurations.
• Provide health checks and proactively identify risks and bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Visulaization and Nutanix InfraStrong knowledge of virtualization platforms: Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere/ESXi, or Microsoft Hyper-V.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in infrastructure and virtualization roles.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
