Professional Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Engineer with a passion for bringing AI to physical hardware. You will be at the core of our Embodied AI (Physical AI) pipeline, focusing on programming, control, and real-world deployment of intelligent models on physical robotic arms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain ROS 2-based control systems deployed on physical collaborative robots (e.g., Franka, Universal Robots).
• Develop core robot manipulation and behaviour components using C++ and Python.
• Collaborate with the AI team to deploy Vision-Language-Action (VLA/VLM) models and imitation learning policies on real hardware.
• Handle real-arm deployment, sensor integration (cameras), trajectory planning, and precise control.
• Test, debug, and optimise robot performance in real-world environments.
• Contribute to system integration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of robotic capabilities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong proven track record of programming and controlling real robotic arms (Franka, UR, or similar). Minimum relevant experience in robotics preferred.
• Technical Skills: Deep experience with ROS 2; solid foundation in robotics fundamentals (kinematics, dynamics, control, trajectories, sensing). Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Soft Skills: Hands-on mindset, problem-solving ability, and passion for physical AI and real-world robot deployment.
• Other: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hardware-focused environment.
