Business Analyst – Banking / CRM

Location: Menara Southern Bank (MSB)

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,000/month

Level: Junior / Mid-Level

Job Summary

We are looking for Business Analysts to join an agile team supporting a large-scale CRM transformation project within the banking environment. The role will focus on gathering and analysing business requirements, translating business needs into system requirements, and supporting testing and implementation activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with business and IT stakeholders across Sales, Service, Support, Product, and Banking Operations to ensure requirements are clearly captured and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and system requirements.
• Work closely with business users to understand existing CRM processes, workflows, business rules, and system capabilities.
• Identify gaps in existing CRM processes and contribute to the design of the to-be CRM solution.
• Maximise out-of-the-box system capabilities while minimising unnecessary customisation.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and related project documentation.
• Review and validate Functional Design Documents (FDD) to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Support Scope of Work (SOW) definition and Change Request assessment and management.
• Develop test strategies, test scenarios, and test scripts together with business stakeholders.
• Work closely with IT test managers to ensure testing approaches and expected outcomes are aligned.
• Support project preparation and implementation activities before and during project kickoff.
• Collaborate with business and IT leads across Sales, Service & Support, Product, Segment, Platform, and System teams.
• Manage multiple workstreams and prioritise deliverables according to project requirements.
• Facilitate discussions and drive alignment across different stakeholders.
• Support large-scale system and platform transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Experience in a Business Analyst / Business Requirements role.
• Experience in Project Management or project coordination will be an advantage.
• Experience working on large-scale IT projects or system transformation projects.
• Experience with CRM systems or CRM-related projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience preparing business requirements, functional requirements, test scenarios, and test strategies.
• Good understanding of IT systems and software delivery processes.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and IT teams.
• Understanding of banking products, services, and business functions is an advantage.
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment is preferred.
