Our client, a leading global asset manager, is seeking an Assistant Manager, FP&A to join its finance team in Singapore.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing management reporting, financial analysis and budgeting processes, providing financial insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver monthly management reports, financial dashboards and performance analysis for senior management.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, providing insights into financial performance against business objectives.
Analyse revenue, costs, operating expenses and profitability across business units and investment strategies.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of management accounts.
Partner with various stakeholders across finance and business functions to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Drive improvements in management reporting processes, financial controls and reporting automation.
Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic finance projects as required.
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
5–8 years of relevant experience in management accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or financial reporting.
Experience within asset management, investment management or financial services would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems; experience with reporting automation and data visualisation tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
