About the Role

We are looking for experienced Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to combine software development and test automation expertise in supporting complex manufacturing execution systems.

You will be responsible for developing automated test suites, validating software functionality, identifying defects, and ensuring the reliability and quality of software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated functional, integration, and regression test suites.
• Work alongside developers to test new features and validate software changes.
• Develop test automation frameworks and reusable testing components.
• Apply C++ and Object-Oriented Programming principles to support testing and development activities.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects through resolution.
• Support continuous integration and automated testing pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse test results and provide clear reports on software quality and release readiness.
• Support Agile development processes and maintain test documentation.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software development and test automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of C++ and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience developing automated functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test (GTest) or CppUnit.
• Knowledge of multithreading, debugging, and software troubleshooting.
• Experience working with large-scale applications or MES platforms.
• Familiarity with CI pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Strong English communication skills.
