Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in renewable energy projects, including solar PV, BESS and other infrastructure assets.
• Conduct financial modelling, investment appraisals, valuations and sensitivity analyses to assess project viability and returns.
• Support M&A transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, negotiations and transaction execution.
• Coordinate with regional teams and external advisors on financial, legal, technical and commercial due diligence.
• Support corporate and project financing activities, including debt fundraising and financial structuring.
• Prepare investment proposals, financial analyses and investment memoranda for management approval.
• Monitor existing investment portfolios and assess financial performance, risks and potential divestment opportunities.
• Review relevant commercial agreements and support post-acquisition integration activities.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
• Good understanding of corporate finance, investment structuring and financial due diligence.
• Familiarity with renewable energy investments, M&A transactions and project financing.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and work effectively with regional teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimally Degree in Finance, Business or Engineering, preferably with a post-graduate Masters in relevant field.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in investment management, corporate finance, project finance or M&A.
• Experience in renewable energy or infrastructure investments, preferably within Asian markets.
• Exposure to solar PV projects, investment transactions, project financing, fundraising activities would be advantageous.
