• Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at assigned workstations and throughout the kitchen, adhering strictly to hygiene standards.
• Assist the head chef and cooks with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked to the required standards.
• Receive and store food supplies properly, and manage stock rotation using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, keeping it in good working condition.
• Support the team during peak hours by responding promptly to orders and working efficiently under pressure.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to prevent cross-contamination.
• Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and teamwork.
