Job Summary
Civil engineers plan, design, and supervise the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, tunnels, and water and sewage systems, ensuring safe and sustainable environments.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed plans and designs for building structures and infrastructure projects to meet safety and regulatory standards
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality requirements
Manage maintenance programs for infrastructure such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbours, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
Assess environmental impacts and implement measures to protect and improve the living environment
Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues to maintain construction integrity and safety
