Position Overview

We are hiring a Junior Investment Analyst in Singapore whose main function will be directly supporting the Portfolio Manager in investment due diligence and fund manager evaluation. To excel in this role, you must possess strong quantitative capabilities and an innovative mindset; you will leverage modern AI tools to build sophisticated financial models, develop custom fund analytics tools, and present data-driven results via interactive HTML dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Due Diligence: Assist the Portfolio Manager in vetting fund strategies and evaluating fund managers.
• Data Handling & Pipelines: Actively manage, clean, and structure large datasets of performance data from underlying hedge funds.
• Quantitative Analytics: Filter, rank, and run direct peer comparisons on hedge fund managers.
• Tool & Model Development: Leverage AI platforms to build financial models and custom fund quantitative analytics tools.
• Visual Dashboards: Design and publish clear HTML dashboards to dynamically present data, performance trends, and analysis results.
• Bilingual Reporting: Draft clear screening reports and investment memos in both English and Mandarin.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Ability to leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) via smart prompting to structure data, write analytical scripts, and generate HTML dashboard visualizations.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong balance of complex data handling and qualitative fund strategy and manager analysis.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Non-finance backgrounds are highly welcome provided you possess the required quantitative and technical skills.
• Experience: Open to high-potential fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years in investment/data research.
• Languages: Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin to handle regional manager materials.
